1. About us

This website is operated by The Natural Nomad.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to:

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before making a purchase.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

2. Our products

We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our products accurately.

Many Natural Nomad garments are made using traditional, handcrafted processes, including hand block printing, natural dyeing and recycled textiles. Small variations in colour, print placement, stitching, texture and finish are part of the character of these pieces and are not normally considered faults.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen and device settings.

Product measurements and sizing information are provided as a guide. Please check the individual product description before ordering.

3. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Our collections are produced in small batches, so some items may sell out and may not be restocked.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. We may limit quantities or withdraw a product from sale at any time.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products in accordance with these Terms.

You will receive an order acknowledgement by email. This does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

Your order is accepted when we confirm that it has been processed or dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

an item is unavailable;
the price or product information contains an obvious error;
payment cannot be authorised;
we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of our website; or
we are unable to deliver to the address supplied.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.

The price charged will be the price displayed when you place your order, together with any applicable delivery charge shown at checkout.

You must provide complete and accurate billing, delivery and payment information.

Payments are processed securely through the payment services available at checkout. We do not directly store your complete card details.

6. Delivery

Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website. Delivery dates are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Unless another timeframe has been agreed with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and normally within 30 days of the order being accepted.

Please make sure that your delivery address is complete and correct. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.

Please contact us promptly at hello@thenaturalnomad.co.uk if an order has not arrived or arrives damaged.

7. Cancelling an online order

You normally have the right to cancel an online order without giving a reason.

You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days beginning the day after you receive the goods.

After notifying us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Please include your name and order number.

This right may not apply to goods that have been personalised or made to your individual specification, or to other goods excluded from cancellation rights by law.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns are handled in accordance with our separate Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

To request a return, contact us at hello@thenaturalnomad.co.uk before sending anything back.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

You may inspect an item as you would in a shop. We may reduce a refund where the value of the item has been diminished by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method. Where applicable, we may wait until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back before issuing the refund.

9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Your statutory rights apply if an item is:

faulty;
damaged;
not as described;
not of satisfactory quality; or
not fit for its usual or stated purpose.

Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@thenaturalnomad.co.uk, including your order number and photographs where helpful.

Where the law requires it, we will offer an appropriate refund, repair or replacement. UK consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods, subject to the circumstances set out in consumer law.

Where an item is confirmed as faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return costs.

10. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges through the website.

The quickest way to obtain another size or item is to request a return and place a new order separately.

This does not affect your legal rights where goods are faulty or incorrect.

11. Discounted products and gift cards

Discounted or sale products purchased online remain subject to applicable statutory cancellation and consumer rights.

Gift cards cannot normally be returned or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.

12. Website use

You may use this website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

use the website fraudulently or unlawfully;
interfere with its security or operation;
introduce viruses or malicious material;
attempt to gain unauthorised access;
copy or commercially exploit our website content without permission; or
use automated systems to place fraudulent orders or disrupt the website.

We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

13. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including our branding, logo, written copy, photographs, graphics, product names and original designs, belongs to The Natural Nomad or is used with permission.

You may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, alter, publish or commercially use our content without our prior written permission.

14. Third-party services and links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services supplied by third parties, including Shopify and payment providers.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of independent third-party websites.

Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

15. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Shopify and our payment, delivery and marketing providers may process information where necessary to operate the store, fulfil orders and provide their services.

16. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:

death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
breach of your statutory consumer rights; or
any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.

We are not responsible for business losses suffered by someone purchasing as a consumer, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or data.

17. Events outside our control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, postal delays, industrial action, interruption of utilities or communications, or other exceptional circumstances.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of any disruption and keep affected customers informed where practical.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services or applicable law.

The Terms that apply to your order will normally be those available on the website when the order is placed.

19. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

As a consumer, you will retain any mandatory legal protections that apply where you live.

Any dispute may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, although consumers living elsewhere in the UK may also have the right to bring proceedings in their local courts.
